When the intensity of stimulation in the proprioceptive insole is correct, Pressure Plate Readings will shift towards homeostasis:

  • Bracers: sA readings increase, mP readings decrease
  • Releasers: sA readings decrease, mP readings increase
  • Postural Improves
  • Chronic Pain symptoms attenuate


When the intensity of stimulation in the proprioceptive insole is not correct, Pressure Plate Readings will shift away from homeostasis:

  • In Bracers: sA readings may decrease, and/or mP readings may increase
  • In Releasers: sA readings may increase, and/or mP readings may decrease
  • Postural Distortions Increase
  • Chronic Pain symptoms increase


Patients with Descending Postural Distortional Patterns (e.g., resulting from cranial or occlusal imbalances, iatrogenic orthodontic or bridge work) may skew the Pressure Plate Readings away from homeostasis, even when the intensity of stimulation to the bottom of the foot is correct.
